Beth Penfield (B&D) recently moderated a virtual panel on Social Infrastructure P3s & Public Engagement Success as part of the P3 Government Conference. The panel, comprised of Steve Collins (CFP3) and Christian Rhodes (Prince George’s County Public Schools), discussed best practices and lessons learned related to the role of public engagement on social infrastructure projects. Many of the topics covered can inform the higher ed world, as well, including the importance of project definition, best practices for explaining the value proposition of P3s, and identifying an approvals strategy.
